San Diego Medical Center is Kaiser Permanente’s next iteration of its Template Hospital strategy, designed over the past two decades to improve wellness, patient safety, operational efficiency, sustainability, and energy efficiency with interiors that are highly sensitive to the emotional and physical needs of both patients and personnel.
CO Architects, SERA Architects, and Los Angeles artist Pae White received the 2016 CODAward in Education for their collaboration on White’s site-specific installation art piece Fauxcilitator in the CO/SERA designed Collaborative Life Sciences Building & Skourtes Tower. The CLSB is part of an interdisciplinary, multi-institutional campus located on the South Waterfront in Portland, OR.
