Tighe Lanning joined CO Architects in 2015 as a designer. After several years working in New York, he moved to Los Angeles to enroll in a graduate Building Science program focused on architectural sustainability. That eventually led him to New Mexico, where he joined Architecture 2030 and concentrated on building sector research into reducing greenhouse gas emissions in urban environments. Tighe helped write ‘Swatches’ for their 2030 Palette, a free online compendium of sustainable architectural strategies broken down into both digestible pieces as well as more in-depth information pages. Knowing that he wanted to return to design, he moved back to Los Angeles, where his focus now rests on healthcare design, sustainability, and technical detailing. Tighe holds a Master of Building Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design.
