CO Architects is looking for a BIM Specialist / Manager to join our interdisciplinary practice. The role is to develop BIM workflows and set standards for Revit and other design technology platforms in the office. This role is primarily focused on project work, but will also contribute to office-wide design technology efforts. This role will report directly to the Director of Digital Design and Technology.

BIM Specialist / Manager’s Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall BIM workflows with owners, consultants and contractors.
  • Help develop methods for improved BIM quality management.
  • Assist in streamlining the transfer of design intent to documentation for construction and facility management.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on various Revit-based projects including:
    • Project setup and coordination with project stakeholders
    • Coordination of BIM standards
    • Custom Revit families and data for documentation and downstream use
    • Alignment of BIM Execution Plan

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

  • Providing guidance on the development of parametric models in Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit/Dynamo and/or CATIA 3DExperience.
  • Help in the development of analytical tools for data visualization.
  • Assist with the experiential visualization of architectural designs in virtual and augmented reality.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a BIM support / management role.
  • High-level proficiency in the setup and management of Revit-based projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
