INTERMEDIATE INTERIOR DESIGNER

CO Architects is looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our interdisciplinary and collaborative project teams. Candidate should exhibit the following skills and traits:

  • Creative problem solving
  • Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge in the following:
    • Design, coordination and documentation of architectural interiors
    • Design, layout and documentation of furniture systems
    • Building codes and agency requirements
    • Building Engineering Systems and coordination with consultants
    • Working with contractors/trades in collaborative delivery

Job Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the design and construction industry
  • Institutional or Healthcare interiors project experience preferred
  • Applicant shall be proficient in Revit/BIM production for large-scale buildings
  • Past experience with direct client interaction
  • Professional architecture/interior design degree required, Master of Architecture/Interior Design preferred
  • Architectural or interior design professional license within the State of California preferred
  • LEED-AP ID+C preferred

Salary Range:

Commensurate with experience
