CO Architects is looking for a Project Architect focused on Construction Administration to join our interdisciplinary and collaborative project teams. Candidates should demonstrate the following skills and traits:

  • Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills
  • Proven track record of successful on-site representation during construction
  • Experience and knowledge in the following:
    • Building codes and agency requirements including OSHPD
    • Building engineering systems and coordination with consultants
    • Working with contractors/trades in collaborative delivery
    • Design and documentation (drawings and specifications) of healthcare projects
    • CA activities – reviewing and responding to RFI’s, submittals, and shop drawings; attending site meetings; preparing field reports; working with contractors and building inspectors to efficiently address field issues.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience within the design and construction industry
  • Prior healthcare construction administration experience
  • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Architecture required
  • Proficiency in Revit/BIM production strongly preferred
  • Professional license within the State of California strongly preferred
  • LEED certification preferred
  • Willingness to travel or relocate to construction site (within 120 miles of Los Angeles) for extended period of time

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
