CO Architects Celebrates the Ribbon Cutting of UT Austin’s Autry C. Stephen Engineering Discovery Building

September 18th marked a major milestone for the Autry C. Stephens Engineering Discovery Building, with its ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening! CO's Andrew Labov, Emilio Todescato, Esther Chao and Julie Chen traveled to Austin to celebrate with everyone who made this project come to life.

The 210,000 GSF facility brings together teaching, research and collaboration spaces to support the next generation of engineering innovation. Anchoring a prominent corner within the engineering precinct, the building establishes a new campus gateway while providing flexible, modern environments for the geosystems and chemical engineering programs. Its integrated teaching and laboratory spaces are designed to foster interdisciplinary exploration and advance research that will address the needs of a changing world.
