Lunar New Year Celebrations at CO Architects
CO's Wellness Committee hosted a fun-filled Lunar New Year celebration at both our Los Angeles headquarters and San Diego office where we honored traditions with activities to bring luck and prosperity in the Year of the Dragon!
During Lunar New Year, it is traditional to give the gift of a bright, beautiful red envelope (known as 紅包, hóngbāo) to your friends and family. COworkers filled out note cards with messages of well wishes for the new year ahead.
We participated in the tradition of writing “福” (Fu). Lunar New Year celebrations include writing this on doors and windows during the festival. It means blessing or good fortune for the new year.
Then we enjoyed some delectable "lucky" foods to end the celebration!
