Developing Leadership From Within Through the LeaderFlow Program

CO Architects is proud to be a regional sponsor of LeaderFlow, a non-profit working to accelerate the pipeline of BIPOC leaders in architecture, engineering, and construction. The 7-month-long leadership development program started in Los Angeles in 2021 and has expanded to three cities. An annual cohort of architecture, engineering and construction professionals attend monthly workshops based on a rigorous curriculum for leadership acceleration.

As part of our commitment to diversity, professional growth and continuing education, CO has sponsored employee participation in this exciting program over the past two years. The program has provided robust leadership training and each employee has continued to grow in project and firm-wide roles including project management and office-wide education and internship initiatives. Principals Jenna Knudsen and Scott Kelsey have contributed as facilitators, providing their leadership insight and knowledge to the next generation of industry leaders. Keep reading to see what some of our participants have to say about the program!
